(g) – Inadequacy

I go to Zippy’s blog often to educate myself about topics i’m interested in. Someone mentioned the death penalty this morning, and so I returned to his blog to educate myself about what Zippy’s thoughts were, because it spares me many hours of pondering and shortcuts many errors in judgement. I found myself looking at the memorials commented on his last post, and was struck by the profound respect the Catholic community had (has) for his thought and writing.

Of course, this profound respect he earned by equal measures diligence in study and brilliance in thought.

I discovered Zippy too late. His impact on my thinking is immeasurable. Sometimes I wonder what I am doing with my blog, why do I write, what impact am I even having.

I must be better. Not for my own sake, but for the Truth.
