Afterthought: if political victory to you means being able to restrain anyone but yourself, you will lose.
If political victory relies on restraining only yourself, you will lose.
If your political opponents only flaw is that they don’t have someone strong putting them in their place, you will lose.
The only thing you can do is restrain yourself. If enough of us do this individual work, maybe we will win.
