(h) – Couldda Wouldda Shouldda

God could have said no.

Eve could have said no.

Adam could have said no.

Mary could have said no.

Pilate could have said no.

Judas could have said no.

All of existence is constantly dancing on the head of a pin. One slip–everything falls off, forever.

But each “yes” echoes forwards and backwards through time.

No man is an island. Ask not for whom the bell tolls–the bell consecrated, named, and carefully placed in a spot in space and time. It tolls–in space and time, beyond space and time–for thee.
