Profit Motive is the economic arm of the Pursuit of Happiness. All pursuit and no fulfillment. How do you get happiness? Who knows–but you can pursue it all you want. How do you get Profit? you gotta spend money to make money, and that means you need more profit!

These are tautologies that have no philosophical end other than self perpetuation. Cathonomics at least has fulfillment in works of mercy, or heaven.
