(w) – Good, Continued

In Genesis, God created all things, and he saw that they were good. I previously asserted that “good” means that a thing is properly ordered. God saying creation is “good” means that the thing that makes creation good is that it is properly ordered.

Only when Adam and Eve eat from the tree of knowledge is disorder introduced. Disorder is ordered away from God, and as such is not good.

(u) – That Which Is Precious

Only things that are precious need to be guarded. In our own lives, our most prized possession is either: Securely locked away, or in a place where we can keep our eyes on it. Precious things need to be secured or watched. The MOST precious things need to be secured or watched constantly.

Human life is precious. God appoints someone to watch us, in the form of Guardian Angels. He gives us guardian angels not because we need help (although we do, and they do help us), but because we are precious.
